Abby and I are excited that throughout the month of November, 10% of the proceeds of Abby the Crabby Tabby: Discovers Gratitude will go to supporting Planned PEThood of Georgia. Planned PEThood is a low-cost veterinary provider and animal welfare organization. Their veterinary team just reached their 80,000 spay/neuter surgery since opening in 2010! Planned PEThood’s services include low-cost vaccines, spay/neuter, TNR (trap, neuter, return), and a wellness clinic. Additionally, they work with rural shelters to ensure vulnerable pet populations receive access to veterinary care, and their rescue team saves 1,100 animals a year, primarily cats. It is Planned PEThood’s goal to ensure pet caregivers and parents have access to affordable veterinary care.
November 29 is Giving Tuesday and Planned PEThood has a goal of raising $65,000 during the month of November to help pets in rural and remote communities in Georgia by providing more access to veterinary care in 2023.
