Abby and I are proud to be supporting Mission K9 Rescue for the month of February! Throughout this month, 10% of the proceeds from Abby the Crabby Tabby book and merchandise sales will go to this important organization.
The goal of MissionK9Rescue is to Rescue, Reunite, Re-Home, Rehabilitate and Repair any retired working dog that has served mankind in some capacity. They have served lives around the world and deserve a hero’s retirement.
Based in Houston, Texas, MissionK9 provides assistance and support for Working Dogs worldwide. The organization’s mission is to serve retiring and retired Military Working Dogs, Contract Working Dogs, and other Dogs who Serve as they may fit into the mission and scope. As of December 2021, they’ve rescued over 1100 working dogs from every corner of the world. They have reunited over 540 working dogs with former handlers and paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in veterinary care for these hero dogs!
Petco Foundation presented the 2017 Helping Heroes Award Winner to MissionK9Rescue.
